MES Launches KeSya Application, Accountability for Small Business Actors is Made Easy

EKISPEDIA.COM - The Sharia Economic Community (MES) launched an application called Sharia Finance (KeSya) in a series of events at the VI MES National Conference (Munas), at Plaza Mandiri, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, Saturday (30/9).

The launch of KeSya was carried out symbolically by Chairman VII of the MES Central Management, Sugeng; and Secretary General (Sekjen) of the MES Central Management, Iggi Haruman Achsien.

In his speech, Iggi said that digital transformation is an important step in supporting the development of the sharia economic and financial ecosystem in Indonesia.

According to him, there are several potential sectors that must continue to be developed, such as sharia microfinance institutions, Halal MSMEs, Islamic boarding school and mosque business units, as well as social financial institutions.

He views that the development of the halal ecosystem in Indonesia needs to be supported by a massive digitalization process for these potential sectors.

"KeSya is an application that is here to answer challenges regarding fulfilling aspects of business accountability and transparency faced by business actors and MES partners," said Iggi in his speech.

The PT Pertamina Commissioner said that the KeSya application is a financial recording tool that supports the principles of accountability and transparency.

"Financial recording applications are an important right, so that business processes carried out in the halal ecosystem in Indonesia can be accountable and transparent," he concluded
